Good Morning! (Or Good Whatever- Time- of- Day- You- Are- Reading- This!)

The first week of classes was not too bad but, I can already tell that this upcoming week will be a very busy one in-between work, classes and, my responsibilities to my organization. However, it will be a fun week. I’m just waiting for my financial aid to drop right now. As I wrote in my last blog, I have a lot of things that I need money for. I haven’t even made it to the groceries part. Unfortunately, payday isn’t until Friday so, I hope financial aid drops before then. My refrigerator is pretty much almost empty. It’s sad. Why does education have to be so expensive?

Anyways, I’m just writing this post before I do some school work and then go to work because I know I will either forget by the time I get home for work or be too tired to even go near my laptop. It will most likely be the latter choice so here I am typing away my sob stories to you all at 9:29AM. I’m waiting for the residence hall area office to open so I can get my package. The laptop battery that I ordered came in last night while I was out at a friend’s birthday dinner. I hope the battery works. Then, that will be one less thing to worry about on my long list of priorities.

Speaking of priorities, my access-code that I bought from the University bookstore for my Psychology class does not work. I am so upset. I called Pearson, the company that makes the product, and they said that they were having problems so they shut down the system so that was the reason why my access code was not taken. However, I got an email yesterday saying that the problem was fixed and I should be able to access my course materials now but, I’m still having errors. Did I mention how I absolutely hate online course packages? They make you spend extra money because now you can’t just buy a textbook; you have to have an online membership in order to turn in homework. It is not even convenient. It is just a pain in the …you know where. Now I have to call those people again and be on hold for a while. I JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO GET MY ASSIGNMENTS DONE! Well, I’m done ranting for now. Until next time!

Thanks for listening to my rant,

Shikaardeta
