Victoria Renee Scott, Daughter of Oxieleti

Disclaimer: This is a short story. Any similarities to actual events or people is purely a coincidence. This is all a figment of my imagination. Enjoy

______________________________________________________________________________________________

I don’t know where to even begin. To be quite honest, our history is long and complicated. I cannot even begin to tell you the story of our people and how we came to be. So, I’ll just start with me and give you the breakdown. We used to be werewolves but, we lost the privilege. Ever since we lost our privilege, like 20-something million years ago we have been trying to get it back.

I know what you’re thinking. This girl is crazy! There are no such things as werewolves. That’s just some fantasy novel shit. Well, this is my history and this is my people. We are called the Oxieleti. We are a small secret tribe living in betwixt the mortals on earth. That’s right. I called you a mortal. I guess you have just correctly assumed that the Oxieleti people are immortal.
Your next question is who are you and exactly how old are you? Hi, I’m Victoria and I am 24 years old. Yes, that is my real age. I have 2 siblings. No, we do not live in a pack and no one is an alpha. We are just normal people. Well, as normal as you can get for werewolf descendants but, I’m rambling here. Let’s get to the main point of my story.

I met a myth. I thought he was just a story but, he’s real! Like real, real! I know. Ironic coming from an immortal werewolf descendant but, hey, that’s life for ya! But, now I’m in trouble. I kind of sort of blogged about what I saw on the immortal wide-web and now, they’re coming for me.

By the way, follow on my blog if I don’t get taken at iww.VikkiLifeStyleBlog.com.

Back to what I was saying, I’m going to get taken somewhere and I may not ever come back if you get what I mean. Why am I even still blabbing my big fat mouth? That’s what got me in trouble in the first place. Sigh.

XOXO

Vikki, Daughter of Oxieleti

Hey, so I haven’t been taken yet and I’ve been getting questions about who I saw or rather what. I shouldn’t be saying this but, I’m already in deep doo-doo so what the heck! Might as well live!

He’s a certain deity of Greek mythology. We definitely had to read about him sometime in our school career and was bored to death. He also was a notorious man-whore who constantly cheated on his wife. I’m guessing you know who it is now. I didn’t name any names though. 😊
Let me know who you think it is in the comments below. I’m sure you all know.

XOXO

Vikki, Daughter of Oxieleti

“Victoria Renee Scott of Oxieleti”

“Yes”

“Hi, I’m Jeremiah Prompter of Vikstanz. I am the Director of Communications. I think you know why you’re here.”

“I’m guessing the silence means yes.”

He was met with more silence.

“I know this interrogation room hasn’t been the most comfortable but, this is just where we need to keep you until we get an order on what to do with you.”

“What are you guys going to do with me?” Victoria whispered almost to herself.

“Ahh, there’s the blabbermouth. Almost thought you were broken. You know I watched your vlogs and read your blogs. You sure can talk. Luckily, you hadn’t vlogged anything yet or we would have had to do a whole lot more work on our end.” The man said oddly amused by the woman’s torture. Probably because he wasn’t the one that was handcuffed in a bare room wearing yesterday’s clothes.

“Zander or rather Zeus will decide.” He finally answered her question before there was a knock on the door.

“That’s him.” He almost sang out before moving to leave the room. As he left, the man of Victoria’s nightmares glided in through the doors.

“Victoria Scott,” He said tasting the name on his tongue as he sat on the stool in front of her.

“How did you know it was me?” He seemed amused.

“What?” Victoria wrinkled her forehead in confusion.

“How. Did. You. Know. I. Was. Zeus” He emphasized each word like she was dumb.

“I don’t know. I just knew,” Confused herself about the new development. How had she known? She looked over at him across the street and she just knew. It was like she had flashes of him from the past. She got bits and pieces of conversations but never knew who he was with or talking to.

“People don’t just know, Victoria,” he said mocking her. He knew that was the truth. She could tell.

“Did you know Jeremiah too?” He teased her some more only to be gifted with silence.

“I found the right person but, you are not normally this quite. I think I would like to bask in this moment.” He soaked in the moment with pride.

“How do you know me?” Victoria asked offended and curious at the same time.

“I know everyone, Vikki. I’m going to call you Vikki. That’s what your family and friends call, right.” Not, asking but rather stating a fact.

“Yes, but you are neither.” Victoria retorted.

“Oh, Vikki or should I say, my sweet Hera. We have much to catch up on.” He smirked and that’s when it all it hit her, the reason why she felt all this anger and resentment towards a deity she thought she didn’t know and she fainted.
