Never Lose Heart

I’m feeling corny today. Here are my words of encouragement for you today. I’m feeling extra encouraging and want to spread the love.

Lose heart. To lose heart is to become discouraged, lose confidence or courage. It’s when you lose hope.

It’s so easy to lose hope yourself in the world these days. Everybody’s demanding something of you. You can either do it or you can’t.

But remember that you started down this path for a reason. You decided to get this job for a reason. You wanted to help people.

But now you can barely remember why you started. You find yourself thinking all these crazy thoughts now. Do you still want to continue with this?

Is it worth it? Can you do it? Getting here was difficult. But staying and succeeding, that’s even harder.

The go-to phrase is to choose not to succumb to pressure. Be strong and take control! You have a choice! That’s how you chose to affirm yourself. But do you even believe the words you’re saying anymore?

It’s going to take a deeper look to get back to the reason you started all this. Why did you choose to continue to school? Why did you choose to start a business? What gave you the courage and hope?

When things get hard, how do stop yourself from getting lost in the motion of things? Never lose heart.

Such a romantic notion. Admit it, we all lose heart at least a couple of times in our lives. The important thing is that you find it again.

Pick up your passion. Find yourself again. Find your why and your hope again.

You wanted to help the small business owner get noticed. You wanted to be the one who brought a smile on a sick child’s face. You wanted to cure the loneliness in someone’s heart.

That’s where your heart lies. That’s the reason for your courage. It was bigger than just you.

When you find yourself lost. And you forgot why you’re doing this, remember that. When you are wondering why you got yourself in this stressful situation, remember that.

When you find yourself afraid of the future that you could create for yourself, know that you should aim for failure. It is a failure that will help you grow and pave your path to success.

Don’t fear the change. You’ve always been resilient. You can get through this hump like you’ve gotten through all the others before.

The world will disappoint you but that doesn’t mean this is the end of your story. You can always find a way to your destiny.

It may not be a straight-shot and it may take you longer than others. But success is still a success, no matter how long it takes. I will applaud you just the same.

Don’t fear your success. You are strong. You will adjust to the new demands of life just as you’ve always done before.

Don’t let your fear limit you. You got heart. You have dreams and plans. Keep that child-like bravery.

Don’t let your dreams become what ifs. So, for those out there who are afraid to keep going and don’t know how long it will take, don’t lose heart.

Your heart, your courage, your reason for being is what makes you special. I’m proud of you for staying and trying every day even when you don’t feel like it. I’m on your team. I’m rooting for you!

    1. At that point, I would look for external support. Who’s the person that you can trust the most to encourage you? Find that person. Read about people who were in horrible situations and were able to come out. Think about what may be making you feel that way. Can you eliminate it? Hang out around people who inspire you to do great things and make you happy.
